Christina Nadin Becomes Only the Second Filipina to Walk the Victoria's Secret Runway

Filipino-Irish-British model Christina Nadin has made history as only the second Filipina to walk the runway at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Her debut comes eight years after fellow Filipina model Kelsey Merritt broke ground at the event in 2018.

Nadin appeared in the Pink segment of the 2026 show in Los Angeles on Sunday, October 18, which was Monday, October 19, in Manila. Her appearance brings Filipino representation to one of the most widely recognized runway productions in the fashion industry.

Sharing the news

Before the show, Nadin revealed her selection to her Instagram followers. She posted a video of the moment she found out and a cake decorated with the words “Congrats! VS Angel!” In the caption, she told her mum that the secret was finally out.

Her background

Nadin was born on March 7, 1995, in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Her mother is from Legazpi, Albay, in the Philippines, and her father is of Irish and British descent. She also works as a digital creative.

The 2026 lineup

The show featured a roster of established names, with Bella Hadid opening the presentation. Other familiar faces included Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Gigi Hadid, Alex Consani, Anok Yai, Ashley Graham, Joan Smalls, Elsa Hosk, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Paloma Elsesser.

Barbara Palvin also returned to the runway for her fifth season, her first since welcoming her first child with husband Dylan Sprouse.

Performances and guests

The musical lineup included Megan Moroney, Megan Thee Stallion, Tate McRae, and Katseye. Reality star Kylie Jenner made her runway debut wearing the Fantasy Bra, which is reportedly valued at $50 million.

The event was held at Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles. Among the attendees was Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.
