David Honorio Lim III, Founder and Chief Vision Officer of Calibr8 Systems, has received the Leading Technopreneur in Asia Award at the ACES Awards 2026. The event is one of the region's most respected platforms for recognizing leadership and business excellence.

The ACES Council honored Lim for growing Calibr8 Systems into a technology-driven enterprise built on entrepreneurial conviction, industry relevance, and ambitions to scale. His leadership combines innovation, strategic foresight, and hands-on execution, addressing the changing needs of businesses working through digital transformation.

A Career at the Intersection of Technology and Industry

Lim has spent more than 25 years in Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT), working where industrial operations meet emerging technologies. His experience in business development, solution architecture, and process engineering has taken him across enterprise platforms from providers such as OSIsoft, Cisco, Microsoft, HP, and other major technology vendors.

From Philippine Startup to Global Technology Partner

Lim co-founded Calibr8 Systems with the goal of powering a sustainable world with data. Under his leadership, the company has grown from a Philippine-based technology firm into an international organization with offices in Malaysia, Singapore, and the United States, and it continues to expand into other markets.

Calibr8 serves asset-intensive sectors such as energy, water, and manufacturing. Its end-to-end solutions bring together fragmented systems and turn industrial data into practical insights. With real-time visibility across operations, clients can get more from their assets, lower operating costs, and accelerate their digital transformation efforts.

Lim has also championed technology as a driver of sustainability. Calibr8 helps organizations use real-time operational data to improve energy efficiency, make better use of resources, cut waste, and strengthen the resilience of critical infrastructure. By giving industries trusted data for decision-making, the company supports a shift toward more sustainable, future-ready operations.

Putting Philippine Innovation on the Global Stage

Lim's recognition at the ACES Awards 2026 highlights not only his entrepreneurial achievements but also the growing influence of Philippine-born innovation across the regional and global technology landscape. The honor also belongs to the entire Calibr8 team, whose passion and expertise continue to drive the goal of helping industries build smarter, more sustainable operations through technology and data-driven decision-making.
